Maintenance & Housekeeping

Maintenance:

Chateau Lake San Marcos Homeowners Association employs a full-time director of building maintenance and a staff to provide upkeep of the community common areas including landscaping.  Our maintenance team does offer minor project handyman services to individual residents as time permits for a nominal charge. Housekeeping:

Housekeeping services are included for all residents of the community.  Housekeeping is provided every other week and includes:

  • General Cleaning of Kitchen & Bathrooms
  • Flooring (Vacuuming, Sweeping & Mopping)
  • Light Dusting
  • Bed stripping and remaking
  • Linen Service includes sheets, pillowcases, kitchen and bath towels. Please note turnaround time is approximately 7 days, residents should have additional linens.

Service is approximately one hour for a one-bedroom unit and 1 ½ hours for a two-bedroom unit.  The director of resident services will be happy to arrange cleaning times to best fit your schedule.

Utilities:
Each residential unit is responsible for their own electric energy bill provided by SDG&E and any telephone services of your choice.  AT&T and spectrum are available in our local area.

The following utilities are included in the homeowner’s assessment:

  • Natural Gas
  • Water
  • Heating
  • Basic TV services through Spectrum including a DVR receiver
  • Spectrum in-unit Internet  & Wi-Fi
  • Trash Services
  • Annual Window Cleaning
  • Common area Pest Control (interior unit pest control is owner responsibility)

*Each unit is air conditioned.  All air-conditioning equipment is the responsibility of the unit owner to maintain, repair, and/or replace.  Please see exhibit E of the CC&Rs by clicking here for a complete list of owner maintenance responsibilities.
