Maintenance & Housekeeping
Maintenance:
Chateau Lake San Marcos Homeowners Association employs a full-time director of building maintenance and a staff to provide upkeep of the community common areas including landscaping. Our maintenance team does offer minor project handyman services to individual residents as time permits for a nominal charge. Housekeeping:
Housekeeping services are included for all residents of the community. Housekeeping is provided every other week and includes:
- General Cleaning of Kitchen & Bathrooms
- Flooring (Vacuuming, Sweeping & Mopping)
- Light Dusting
- Bed stripping and remaking
- Linen Service includes sheets, pillowcases, kitchen and bath towels. Please note turnaround time is approximately 7 days, residents should have additional linens.
Service is approximately one hour for a one-bedroom unit and 1 ½ hours for a two-bedroom unit. The director of resident services will be happy to arrange cleaning times to best fit your schedule.
Each residential unit is responsible for their own electric energy bill provided by SDG&E and any telephone services of your choice. AT&T and spectrum are available in our local area.
The following utilities are included in the homeowner’s assessment:
- Natural Gas
- Water
- Heating
- Basic TV services through Spectrum including a DVR receiver
- Spectrum in-unit Internet & Wi-Fi
- Trash Services
- Annual Window Cleaning
- Common area Pest Control (interior unit pest control is owner responsibility)
*Each unit is air conditioned. All air-conditioning equipment is the responsibility of the unit owner to maintain, repair, and/or replace. Please see exhibit E of the CC&Rs by clicking here for a complete list of owner maintenance responsibilities.
