ART SALE / FAREWELL CELEBRATION

Saturday, March 9

Come say goodbye to the beautiful and talented Esther Capriotti. At the end of March, Esther will be moving so that she can be closer to her family. She and her family would like to invite all residents to come and join her for small appetizers and drinks as we say our farewells. Esther’s art work will also be on sale, with proceeds from the paintings going towards the Alzheimer's Foundation.

The word game in which players score points by placing tiles bearing a single letter onto a board divided into a grid of squares. The tiles must form real words that, in crossword fashion, read left to right in rows or downward in columns.

After one of their shoplifting sessions, Osamu and his son come across a little girl in the freezing cold. At first reluctant to shelter the girl, Osamu’s wife agrees to take care of her after learning of the hardships she faces. Although the family is poor, barely making enough money to survive through petty crimes, they seen to live happily together until an unforeseen incident reveals hidden secrets, testing the bonds that unite them.

A survivor of 2 primary cancers, she’s commented that it has been the support of her friends, Church, and family that has gotten her through so much! Many of us who are dealing with health issues might like a little more support, so come and encourage one another in a loving confidential group.


ST. PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION

SUNDAY, MARCH 17

It’s time for our annual “wearin’ the green” as we gather around the table and enjoy a delightful meal (what the rascally Irish leprechauns would call focal an lae), with some traditional Irish fare. Head to the end of the rainbow, where you’ll find the pot of gold and a delicious corned beef and cabbage brunch. Don’t forget to wear green or you might get pinched! CARLSBAD SEAWALL WALK & LUNCH

Let’s head to the beach for a delightful stroll along the Seawall. Bright sunshine or marine air- it is always glorious at the beach! Together we’ll relish the smells and sights of the seashore. A RIEHL RADIO SHOW & SING ALONG

Monday, March 18

Karen & Richard Riehl present The Quibbles, an old-fashioned radio show, followed by a sing a-long of old favorites. Script writer and author-playwright Karen enjoyed a career in professional and community theatre, including acting opposite George C. Scott. This show is a sample of others to follow, including plans to expand the cast with Chateau residents. Be sure to join her and her folk guitarist husband Richard in an audience sing-along and a “Riehl” radio show.
